If you haven’t tried “Domain” campaigns in SpeedPPC yet, then
you could be missing out on some quality traffic.
Domain campaigns target searchers who type URLs in the search
query box, rather than the address bar. Perhaps by mistake or
because they’re guessing URLs trying to find the right web site.
Here’s how it works:
You create a SpeedPPC domain campaign (choose Domain from next
to the campaign name) and enter your domain name/s in the seed
keyword list. If your URL is more than one word, put spaces in
between each word because SpeedPPC includes variations without
spaces as well.
SpeedPPC will automatically expand your domain name with
different variations and give you a final keyword list. So for
example, for www.cheapwidgets.com I entered “cheap widgets” into
the seed keyword list. SpeedPPC produced variations such as:
www cheapwidgets
ww cheapwidgets com
cheapwidgets com, etc
(for this one domain, SpeedPPC produced 88 variations)
Once you start bidding on these domain variations, your ads are
appearing in front of the searchers that are using URLs in the
search query box.
Of course, the best thing about domain campaigns is that the
clicks are usually pretty cheap because domain-based keywords
are often forgotten by PPC marketers.
So don’t be one that forgets! Use the domain campaign type to
bring more customers to your site
